TCI RECEIVES EXCELLENCE VENDOR AWARD 2012
TCI received the TNB Vendor Excellence Award 2012 – under TNB subsidiary category of TNB Distribution Division. TCI’s Managing Director, Ir Mohamed Ghous bin Ahmad received the award from the Deputy Finance Minister Y.B Senator Dato’Dr. Awang Adek Hussin in Kuala Lumpur on 19 January 2012 recently.

5S RECERTIFICATION AUDIT A SUCCESS
A 5S recertification audit by Mr Muhamad bin Omar, an assessor from the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) has given TCI another success in its 5S milestones. TCI has managed to live up to its success as 5S practitioner since 2003 after being recertified by MPC in the July 29th.Audit. The audit covers wide areas of 5S implementations at TCI’s XLPE, OPGW, Aluminum plants and offices.

FIBERJAYA WINNER OF GOLD AWARD AT NORTHERN REGION ICC/QE CONVENTION 2011
Tenaga Cable Industries Sdn Bhd's Work Improvement Team (WIT), FIBERJAYA for the second times makes us proud! The team emerged as GOLD CHAMPION at the ICC/QE Convention – Northern Region 2011 organized by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) on 18 -19 July 2011 in Langkawi, Kedah. The team achieved the similar success in 2009 at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. FIBERJAYA consists of 8 dedicated staff represents Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) at the Convention has presented a project titled "Overcoming cu-tape balance at taping machine”. The Award was presented by YB. Dato’ Paduka Abu Bakar bin Taib, Langkawi MP to Mr. An Shahrizal Abd Aziz (Fiberjaya team leader). Congratulation to FIBERJAYA !

Minister of International Trade and Industry, Y.B Dato' Sri Mustapa bin Mohamed presented the Award, Certificate of Achievement and a RM10,000 cheque to Managing Director of TCI, Ir. Mohamed Ghous bin Ahmad in a ceremony held at Hotel Dorsett, Subang on 12th. May 2011 recently. The productivity award is given to the best organization that achieve highest standard in productivity management and business excellence for 3 consecutive years from 2008 to 2010.

TCI's Managing Director, Hj Mohamed Ghous bin Ahmad received the award from TNB's Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri Leo Moggie at the TNB annual assembly in Kuala Lumpur on 6 January 2010.
The prestigious awards are conferred to 12 TNB's Business units that secured 800 points and above in the AKP's biennial assessment. A total of 62 business units have taken part in the 2009 AKP asessment.

TCI won the 5S Practice (Factory Category - Open) Award at the National Quality Environment (5S) Convention 2009 organized by Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) held at one of the leading hotel in Subang Jaya, Selangor on 8 Dec 2009. YB Datuk Jacob Dungau Sagan, Deputy Minister (Industry), Malaysia International Trade and Industry presented the Award to TCI's General Manager- Business Performance Management, En Ali Arif bin John.
More that 650 representatives from 101 government and private agencies attended this annual convention.
