Sebagai memenuhi tanggungjawab sosial kepada golongan yang memerlukan, TCI pada Majlis Rumah Terbuka Aidilfitrinya pada 20 September 2011 lalu telah menyampaikan sumbangan RM3000 kepada Rumah Kebajikan dan Bimbingan At taqwa, Putra Perdana, Selangor. Sumbangan telah disampaikan oleh Ahli Lembaga Pengarah TCI, YBhg Dato’ Ir. Ab’llah bin Hj Mohd Salleh kepada penyelaras Rumah Kebajikan tersebut, Ustazah Norhayati. Anak-anak yatim yang diraikan juga telah menerima duit raya di majlis berkenaan.

TCI telah menganjurkan program melestarikan alam sekitar dengan kerjasama Pejabat Hutan Daerah Selangor Tengah pada 23 Jun 2011 lalu bertempat di Hutan Lipur Sungai Tekala, Semenyih. Aktiviti menanam pokok hutan dari spesis karas & meranti, gotong royong membersihkan kawasan di kawasan Hutan Lipur dan penyerahan 5 tong sampah tajaan TCI kepada Pejabat Hutan di kawasan berkenaan. Pengarah Urusan TCI, Ir Mohamed Ghous bin Ahmad telah mengetuai warga TCI dalam program berkenaan. Pegawai Hutan Daerah Selangor Tengah, En Awang Shaffie bin Awang Ahmadni dan warga kerjanya telah turut hadir dan memberikan kerjasama yang baik sepanjang program berkenaan.

10 February  2011 – Blood Donation Drive at TCI. In association with the National Blood Bank, Kuala Lumpur General Hospital , 47 donors from TCI participated in this annual event for a noble cause.

TCI is always mindful of its CSR activities in providing any form of help to those in need and to reach out to all segments of the society. With business tagline “NEED POWER CONNECTION? WE HAVE THE SOLUTIONS” as its backrest, TCI adopts ‘TCI CONNECTS” to depict its CSR tones.

It's definitely heart-wrenching to read about the earthquake victims' predicament  in Padang, Indonesia. Employees of TCI have responded well to the appeal for donation. They managed to collect RM1111 in a short drive for Tabung Gempa Nusantara Utusan- Maybank. On 7 Dec 2009, TCI's acting Managing Director En Azman Ismail  handed over the donation to Utusan Malaysia's, En Azrai Mohamad  at the company monthly assembly in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor.

TCI CONNECTS WITH PEOPLE and SOCIETY

Donate blood for a good cause. At TCI, blood donation is an annual affair. At its Safety and Health week in May 2009, TCI in association with National Blood Bank Kuala Lumpur has successfully conducted the event with 58 participations from staff of all level

TCI holds its Aidiladha’s Korban program annually. In Dec 2008, TCI through its Persatuan Kebajikan Pekerja Islam (PKPI) contributed meats to neighboring school, SMKA Maahad Hamidiah, Kajang to fulfill its obligation on the auspicious day

TCI connects with the community and offers voluntary service to help in whichever/whenever possible. Amongst them, TCI provided transport and manpower to SMK Bandar Rinching, Semenyih to transport plants from SIRIM, Kepong to the school for its ‘Gotong Royong’ program in 2009

TCI CONNECTS WITH THE ENVIRONMENT

TCI cares for the environment. The company has embarked on its pilot environmental awareness program with school children at SMK Bandar Rinching, Semenyih on 5 August 2009 with an objective to educate school children on the importance of preserving the environment. The program jointly hosted by TCI, SMK Bandar Rinching and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of SMK Bandar Rinching was filled with activities among others trees planting, talks/presentation on environment preservation and provision of recycling bins to the school.

The school children also care for the environment and play their part in planting trees during the program
