Started in 1957, as Malayan Cables Limited (the first cable manufacturer in Malaysia) Tenaga Cable Industries Sdn Bhd has a long fifty glorious years and illustrious history of growth and achievements. In 1999, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Malaysia utility giant, acquired majority shares through its wholly owned subsidiary, TNB Ventures Sdn Bhd and renamed the company as Tenaga Cable Industries Sdn. Bhd. or TCI.

TCI plants are located at Lot 2, Jalan P/12, Section 10, Kawasan Perusahaan Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia which occupies more than 54, 000 sq meters of land area and more than 14,000 sq meters of build up area. read more


	27 July 2010 - TCI's Work Improvement Team, STRATEGI emerged as GOLD CHAMPION at the ICC Convention - East Coast Region 2010 organized by MPC on 27th July 2010 in Kelantan. STRATEGI presented a project titled " Faulty stand at Rolling Mill"
	13 July 2010 - TCI's Work Improvement Team, JENTERA emerged as GOLD CHAMPION at the ICC Convention - Northern Region 2010 organized by MPC on 13th July 2010 in Penang. JENTERA presented a project titled " Unstable temperature at CCV Machine"
	24/4/2010-TCI in collaboration with TNBD Selangor launches its community/charity program at Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih(Orphanage Home) in Puchong, Selangor. Events include gotong royong, donation of beds/furnitures and cash donation from its employees.
	6 March 2010 TCI and its Sports and Recreational Club (KSRT) will organize its 8th. Charity Hunt with theme ' Contributing towards the Handicapped". Starts in B.B.Bangi, the event will conclude in Gambang, Pahang.
